Well guys, I am fed up with Under Armours marketing campaign and high priced chinese made junk that they resell for huge profit.

A couple weeks before my Colorado hunting season I went to BassPro and bought  a new pair of the under armour bozeman boots as they felt great and price was ok in my book.

I wore them around the house and when ever I went to do things so they would break in.

4 days into the elk hunt with fairly easy walking, I noticed some stitching popping out in front of the pinkie toe area, only 3/4" above it. That kind of made me frown but I could live with it for the time being until hunting season was over.

Now comes my New Mexico hunt and on day 6 a cold front moves in, leaving behind it, low fog and dew on the grass. After the morning hunt, my boots were SOAKED. Mind you, Under Armour nicely stitched a (WATERPROOF) tag on the outside of the boot. Yeah, I found out the hard way as my feet were soaked for the next 2 days with just the due from the grass.

After the New Mexico hunt I ended up taking them back to basspro and they exchanged them for a new pair. I can always waterproof with Scotch Guard anyway. But what I do need is a sturdy, comfortable boot.

Got my new pair, went home and wham! I take a size 13M in this boot. The left foot fits like a glove as they'd say, and the other boot fits like an OJ Simpson glove. Super tight and when you walk, it makes a loud suction cup/popping sound on all terrain, INCLUDING dirt!

I already made sure to write my complain on UA's facebook page twice now. Once for the first pair and now the second paid which will be returned to BassPro and this time, a refund will be asked for so I can go and buy a quality product instead of a made in china- hyped marketing campaign product.

Stay away from these boots! I give them a 2 middle finger rating in quality.

Come on, tell us how you really feel :-)  If I want an under shirt I'll buy under armour, if I want boots no way.

Glad you wrote this. They looked good to me and I need a new pair ASAP. Think I am going with Timberland.

Nothing worse than wet feet when you're hunting! Thanks for the warning.

I like their base layers but there's nothing worse than wet sore feet! Thanks for sharing so others won't suffer the same fate.. You get what you pay for as far as boots are concerned in my opinion.  I’ve had the same boots going on 6 seasons now.. they weren’t cheap by any means but worth every penny because I never have wet blistered feet! Anyone in the market for new boots should check out Schnee's boots. They donated a custom pair of boots to SSG Michael Burns for the Operation Pay It Forward hunt I just got back from. He said they didn't even need any break in time.. comfortable right out of the box. Wore them every day and not one complaint, no hot spots at all and didn’t soak through a bit in the pouring rain. Mike liked them soo much he wanted a picture and I just so happen to have that pic. By the way Schnee's didn't ask for any sort of recognition they just wanted to help out a Veteran on his hunt, so if you want to support companies that support our veterans check out the Operation Pay It Forward thread over the next few weeks. I will be uploading tons of photos videos and giving recognition to all the private donors & corporate sponsors.

I am an above knee amputee Vet who just finished a 2 week hunt in the mountains of Idaho. I have a pair of Schnee's, Granit boots. I must say that I was concerned about the ability to climb mountains with any boot. My experience in the past with prothetic was that traction is an issues as well as weight, comfort and being water proof. My Schnee's met every challenge that the mountain terrain or I could throw at them. Because my prothetic foot has no bend in the ankle it was imperative that I would get good traction with limited contact from the sole of the boot. And that is exactly what my Schnee's did. I must say that it they worked like a cat on velcro. Over wet rocks, mud, dust, heaven and light brush, logs you name it, my Schnee's out preformed any boot I have used in the past. I will never buy another product other than Schnee's!!!
