Safety first!  NEVER keep your open powder on the same table you're shooting from.  This guy learned the hard way!

And another reason why I use a bow. Poor fellah. I hope he is ok. What do you all think was the cause of this? Spark from the primer?

Looking at how far back he's standing I'm guessing it was ignited powder coming out of the barrel.  An ember probably flew out the side when the round exited the barrel and landed in his powder.  

That's a good thing about bows, you're in no risk of exploding, just need to make sure you have proper technique to avoid other injuries :-)

Ah yes. This is what you get with 29 inch arrows shot from a bow with 32 inch draw.
